ABOUT

I have been working with startups at the intersection of product and go-to-market for over a decade. I've held roles in both operating and investing capacities within Fintech, Consumer brands, and Web3 industries.

My career began at O'Leary Ventures, where I conducted due diligence on Kevin's Shark Tank deals and contributed to the launch of O’Leary Fine Wines. Following that, I transitioned to the KPMG Strategy Group as a management consultant before making the leap into the tech world by joining Freshbooks (now a fintech unicorn) as one of its early product hires. At Freshbooks, I fueled growth by establishing the Corporate Development function and supporting two 8-figure acquisitions.

Most recently, I joined AGE Fund as a Venture Partner. AGE is a seed stage digital asset fund specializing in financial applications and cross chain infrastructure. In tandem, I own and operate 7 Tides, a startup studio based in LA that specialized in product and GTM. Some recent projects include: SuperRare (NFTs), Xsolla (Gaming), Informal Systems (Cosmos), and EQTY Lab (Filecoin).

My educational background includes Upper Canada College, the University of Western Ontario, and the Richard Ivey School of Business. Currently, I am based in Santa Monica, CA, with my wife, Arianne.
